You will help secure reliable trucking capacity, negotiate rates, and support the successful movement of customer freight across the country. What You Will Do Carrier Sourcing and Relationship Building • Identify, qualify, and onboard new motor carriers for spot and contract freight • Maintain and grow positive relationships with existing carriers • Match carriers with shipments and clearly communicate load details Rate Negotiation and Market Strategy • Negotiate transportation rates to support competitive pricing and company goals • Use logistics analytics, market insights, and technology platforms to drive smart decisions • Maintain daily communication with carriers to secure trucking capacity Operational Support and Problem Solving • Troubleshoot service issues in collaboration with internal teams • Ensure loads are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with requirements Service and Communication Excellence • Communicate professionally with carriers, customers, and internal teams • Work closely with Sales and Operations to meet customer shipping needs • Support after-hours or weekend coverage when needed What We Are Looking ForEducation • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred • Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply Skills and Attributes • Strong communication and negotiation abilities • Relationship-building skills and a positive, professional attitude • Analytical, detail oriented, and eager to learn • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment • Comfortable learning logistics technology and systems (TMS experience is a plus but not required) Working Conditions • Office-based role in a collaborative work environment • Regular use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment • Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities Why Choose RWI Logistics We are committed to helping early-career talent grow and succeed in the logistics industry.
