Compensation: Level I – $48/hr | Level II – $78/hr | Level III – $100/hr Job Title: Planning and Scheduling Engineer I, II, or III Location: Spring, TX Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week Position Overview We are seeking a Planning and Scheduling Engineer (Levels I–III) to support major oil & gas projects in Spring, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience on Cat III+ projects, with a strong background in project scheduling, progress measurement systems, and contractor schedule oversight. Main Functions The Planning and Scheduling Engineer is responsible for: • Developing, maintaining, and integrating the overall project schedule. • Implementing and stewarding progress measurement systems. • Reviewing contractor schedules for logic, detail, input sources, and consistency with WBS and Project Plan. • Detecting schedule deviations, providing corrective actions, and ensuring timely recovery plans. • Supporting alignment with Planning and Project Controls Leads on schedule issues and corrective measures. • Ensuring contractor procedures and progress reports meet Company and Contract requirements. Key Responsibilities • Provide project schedule, progress measurement, and change management expertise. • Monitor and assess contractor planning, schedule control, and reporting. • Review project changes and incorporate impacts into the master schedule. • Analyze contractor schedule logic, progress trends, and look-ahead schedules. • Verify accuracy of contractor progress reports and endorse claimed progress. • Track and analyze planned vs. actual metrics for all site and home office disciplines. Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management. • Experience in project controls with emphasis on planning and schedule control. • Certifications in project controls disciplines a plus. • Ability to work overseas or relocate if required. • Strong consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adaptability to shifting priorities. • Ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent analysis requests.
