Job Description: • Develop and execute a comprehensive global PR and communications strategy. • Own the strategy, voice, and growth of social media channels. • Build and maintain relationships with key cybersecurity journalists and industry influencers. • Partner with executive and research teams to elevate their profiles through speaking engagements. • Collaborate with content and research teams to develop a strategic content plan. • Act as the primary gatekeeper for brand voice and lead communications for any rapid-response needs. • Manage and hold external PR agencies accountable. • Establish KPIs for brand sentiment, share of voice, PR, and social engagement. • Build and manage an annual calendar of industry awards and speaking opportunities. • Provide editorial support for marketing and communications materials. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce relevant content in various formats. Requirements: • 10+ years of experience in PR, communications, or social media, specifically within the B2B cybersecurity space. • A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into compelling narratives. • A proven track record of securing placements in top-tier business and trade publications (e.g., Dark Reading, SC Media, Wired, WSJ) and building relationships with notable journalists and influencers. • Expert-level knowledge of social media platforms and a pulse on where the "security watercooler" conversation is happening (Reddit, Mastodon, Discord, etc.). • Experience working directly with founders and C-suite executives and the ability to pivot from high-level planning to "boots on the ground" execution. • Proficiency with PR and social analytics tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Sprout Social, etc) to measure impact. • A "team-first" attitude with experience working cross-functionally across GTM, product, and people teams. • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where the news cycle moves quickly.
