Join Collins Aerospace’s Supplier Response Center as a dynamic intern and play a pivotal role in managing electronic requests, driving process improvements, and enhancing supplier quality performance. This remote role offers you the chance to interface with various stakeholders, develop key skills in supplier management, and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations. What You Will Do: Support Supplier Quality and First Article Inspection (FAI) functions. Work through various quality aspects including but not limited to supplier auditing, inspection, RCCA, and process improvement. Act as the focal point for Supplier Request for Information (RFI) and Quality Notifications, managing initial reviews and distribution within the value stream. Ensure adherence to process discipline and verify that responses meet supplier inquiries. Drive strategic actions with selected suppliers to improve and maintain quality performance. Collaborate with key Collins Aerospace stakeholders across suppliers, quality, procurement, operations, and engineering. What You Will Learn: Skills in managing and responding to supplier RFIs and quality notifications. Techniques for ensuring process discipline and facilitating effective communication with stakeholders. Methods for driving strategic actions to enhance supplier quality and performance. Insights into analyzing data for identifying improvement areas in supplier management. Experience in coordinating reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of supply chain processes and the impact of quality management on overall operations. Qualifications You Must Have: Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships). U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
