RTX BBN Technologies is seeking a Financial Analyst to support FP&A, BBN Ventures and Business Development. The BBN Finance team is a group of individuals with a robust mix of skills and experiences collaborating across the organization to influence optimal business decisions and achieve predictable results. The selected candidate will be accountable for providing financial leadership for the execution and growth of RTX BBN Technologies. This is a role touching on multiple areas including FP&A and support of non-traditional transitions and business development. What You Will Do: • Support BBN FP&A cash flow forecasting/reporting/analysis. Includes assisting with monthly forecast process and tracking of R&O’s against the forecast, tracking of actual cash flow throughout the month and then analyzing actual vs forecast at the end of the period. This will also include supporting development of the annual AOP and LRP process. • Manage BBN FP&A capital investment (capital requests/forecasting/reporting). This is a growing area within BBN and will involve assisting with the monthly forecast process, tracking project actuals and reporting project actual costs vs forecast. This will also involve reviewing capital requests and routing them for approvals, and managing the project setup process, tracking actual costs vs budget and working with RTX Asset Accounting to create assets upon project completion. • Facilitate BBN FP&A balance sheet reviews. Assist with quarterly review process including generation of the file which includes project level detail of both the Billed and Unbilled CIP accounts. Participate in the quarterly review with the BBN Program Finance Leads and BBN CFO. Assist with issue resolution with the goal of turning sales into cash for the business. • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. • Identify and execute solutions to complex problems with minimal supervisory intervention. • Convey financial data to non-finance business partners in an effective manner • Pricing (costing, R&O’s and investment requirements), market analytics (market size, market prices, pricing strategy and price to win) and ROI analysis in support of BBN Ventures. • Coordinate/design financial management strategies with FP&A, Program Finance, and RTX accounting for non-standard commercial opportunities. • Analyze customer budgets and market related data, incorporate business level inputs, research background material on commercial customer’s priorities, and identify global trends/needs within key markets in support of Business Development • Collaborate with BBN technical and BD teams to define and segment the market, determine market sizes, and analyze key opportunities.
