Join us and discover how high your career can soar at Collins Aerospace What You Will Do: You will help develop and support advanced application and infrastructure for a variety applications in both a traditional workload and containerized environments. You will learn to support applications and infrastructure in both Azure and AWS utilizing Kubernetes and Ansible. You will serve as an agile team member on a cross-functional team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operating system support, application support, monitoring/alarming, enhancing application performance, and adhering to corporate security compliance standards. You will interface with internal Collins customers to understand their support needs and provide reliable applications delivery for our engineering community. What You Will Learn: You will grow as a software engineer while contributing to both the company's goals and your personal career objectives. Qualifications You Must Have: Requires a Master’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships). U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with Cloud Computing. Experience with Linux Experience with containers. Operating System Proficiency: Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems in a traditional workload and containerized environment Cloud Services Expertise: Experience with AWS scripting (Cloud Formation or Terraform), Azure, Kubernetes Database Management: Practical knowledge of MySQL databases, including setup, management, and troubleshooting. Project Management Tools: Experience using and administrating the Atlassian Suite, GitLab Scripting Languages: Perl, Python DevSecOps: Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, security automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC). The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
