University degree with 10+ years relevant experience in space or NASA programs, technical/operations background, leadership in program cost and scope management, and EVMS experience.
Job Description: • Leads program to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility • Leads pursuit activities for competitive and sole-sources activities • Manages the P&L of the program to ensure financial commitment targets are met • Develops milestones, program plans, schedules and budgets for programs to ensure that the organization’s objectives are met • Consolidates and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the program(s) and manages value-stream strategy and progress • Monitors strategic planning efforts for medium and/or complex programs • Demonstrates continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality • Identifies and reacts to program problems and recommends solutions, such as allocation of resources, changing contractual specifications, and coordinating responses to customer action items • Supports the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operation budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization’s interests • Interfaces with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion • Manages the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs • Coordinates the negotiation, proposals, business plans, budgets and contracts for programs • Establishes cost-focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets Requirements: • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience • Have experience with products and/or systems in the space industry or NASA programs • Technical and/or Operations background • Proven leadership managing program cost & scope • Experienced with EVMS program management and R&O management Benefits: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Three weeks of vacation for newly hired employees • Generous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds and separate employer retirement contribution, including a Lifetime Income Strategy option • Tuition reimbursement program • Student Loan Repayment Program • Life insurance and disability coverage • Optional coverages you can buy pet insurance, home and auto insurance, additional life and accident insurance, critical illness insurance, group legal, ID theft protection • Birth, adoption, parental leave benefits • Ovia Health, fertility, and family planning • Adoption Assistance • Autism Benefit • Employee Assistance Plan, including up to 10 free counseling sessions • Healthy You Incentives, wellness rewards program • Doctor on Demand, virtual doctor visits • Bright Horizons, child and elder care services • Teladoc Medical Experts, second opinion program • And more!
