The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team: The RTX Business Resilience & Crisis Management (BRCM) team within Global Security Services (GSS) oversees the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the RTX BRCM Program, ensuring the organization is prepared to respond to and recover from disruptions, incidents, and crises. The BRCM Senior Manager will report to a BRCM Associate Director and will provide operational support for resiliency efforts, coordinating preparedness, response, and continuity processes. This role requires cross-functional and matrixed organizational collaboration with site teams and business leaders. What You Will Do: Compliance Assurance Responsible for policy compliance, and strategy implementation of the BRCM program within the global footprint. Build relationships with stakeholders across global sites and functional teams. Maintain and review program compliance documentation. Participate in audits and assessments both with internal and external parties. Business Resilience Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate threats to resiliency. Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and support establishing objectives and critical details. Develop and implement continuity plans. Escalate recovery gaps, risks, and concerns, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Create and deploy a testing framework for recovery plans with key stakeholders. Track and mitigate issues while analyzing data to identify risks and trends. Identify to BRCM leadership continuity risks and mitigation strategy recommendations. Crisis/Incident Management Create and deploy training materials, templates, and guides for consistency across the organization. Integrate threat assessments into risk evaluations to mitigate event risks. Lead and/or participate in Incident Management/Support Team meetings to align strategies. Develop and distribute seasonal readiness and safety materials to enhance awareness. Follow policies aligned with industry standards, incorporating plan updates and training. Support site teams in developing and updating incident response plans. Plan and conduct crisis management training and exercises. Activate Incident support and response teams during disruptions. Test and activate mass notification tools to ensure available, timely and, accurate communication Collaborate with site and business teams for aligned response efforts. Prepare situational updates during incidents and after-action reports for improvement. Other Duties Stay updated on industry best practices through professional development and training. Support research initiatives to enhance resiliency strategies, tools, and processes. Perform other duties as needed to support the BRCM program and organizational goals. Engage in continuous improvement activities. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years experience (or Master’s and minimum 7 years experience) in crisis/emergency management, resilience, disaster recovery, or business continuity. Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience in resilience within regulated industries (e.g., Aerospace & Defense). Proficiency with resiliency software and emergency notification systems. Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics/visualization). Knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery integration. Experience with project management methodologies and/or data analytics tools. Analytical mindset with leadership, organizational, and communication abilities. Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including creating visuals and delivering training. Comfort with public speaking and instruction in virtual and in-person settings. Expertise in developing tailored training for senior-level audiences. Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure, effectively manage challenging situations, and leverage appropriate resources. Experience managing in international contexts and/or across multiple jurisdictions. Professional certifications in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Organizational Resilience, Operational Resilience, Risk Management, Project Management, or related disciplines (e.g., ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, AEM, CEM, CBCI, PMP). Additional languages are a plus, with a preference for French or Polish. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
