RTX Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Functional Analyst to join our team as a Business Systems Expert for Manufacturing Execution. This role will focus on providing advanced functional and technical expertise in SAP systems to enhance business operations and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the effective utilization of SAP applications. What You Will Do: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP functional modules such as QM and Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and recommend SAP-based solutions to meet organizational objectives. Configure and customize SAP systems to align with business requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements and integrations. Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective utilization of SAP tools. Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to resolve issues and defects to ensure optimal system performance and then report out Root Cause determination. Document functional specifications, process flows, and system configurations to maintain up-to-date records. Stay current with SAP advancements and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions. Support project management activities, including scoping/level of estimate, change control processes, and deliverable tracking for SAP-related projects. Available to support off-shift system support. Support application upgrades. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science and Technology, or a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree with 8 years of professional experience with SAP functional analysis and configuration. In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and their integration points. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders. Expert troubleshooting techniques and ability to escalate issues properly and in a timely fashion. Qualifications We Prefer: SAP certification in relevant modules. (e.g. QM, PP, PEO, ME, MM) Experience with Raytheon’s PRISM system and Fiori based “UX” applications. Experience in the aerospace and defense industry or a manufacturing environment and a familiarity with Agile project management methodologies such as the scaled agile framework (SAFe) methodology. Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects and other modern SAP technologies. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions. RTX CORE certification.
