As the Project Manager, Work Transfer/Production Relocation, you will be responsible for supporting execution of high profile work transfers impacting all Strategic Business Units (SBUs). As a member of the work transfer team, you will lead projects including a cross functional team consisting of individuals from Supply Chain, Quality Engineering, Program, Procurement, and Supplier Assurance. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and maturing the effectiveness of work transfers. This position is remote with flexibility in home location. Domestic travel is required up to 15%. What will you do Continuously improve work transfer processes and tools Provide project management and team leadership in order to successfully execute work transfers Analyze requests for supplier work transfers Frequent communication to internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and management levels Understanding and mitigating key risks and timing constraints related to work transfer projects Work closely with internal team members to ensure the work transfer requirements are met Apply the CORE tools and methodology to increase efficiency and maturity Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience Experience as a Project Manager Experience with risk and opportunity management / risk assessment Experience with supply chain processes and related systems The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
