Lead cybersecurity design and risk assessments for avionics and airport systems, ensure compliance with aviation cybersecurity standards, conduct vulnerability assessments, and collaborate with regulatory and industry stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years experience, aerospace or safety-critical systems background, expertise in aviation cybersecurity standards, and software or cybersecurity engineering in DevSecOps.
Description: • Lead cybersecurity architecture, design, threat assessments, and risk assessments for avionics and airport operation systems. • Support security certification to DO-326A/ED-202A, DO-356A/ED-203A, EASA Part IS, and related standards. • Develop and support the implementation of cybersecurity requirements throughout the Secure System Development Lifecycle (SSDLC). • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support testing of embedded and networked systems. • Collaborate with OEMs, FAA, EASA, and airline customers on compliance and security strategies. • Support the RTX businesses in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation: security plans, risk assessments, certification artifacts. • Stay current on evolving threats and contribute to industry standards and best practices.
