Full Description

Job Description: • Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy • Work with and review Statement of Work (SOW) documents • Prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes) • Review quotes, analyze results and lead negotiation plans / strategies as well as address any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and condition requirements • Formally document purchase orders per internal procedures • Perform routine post-award management activities • Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) • Able to support travel (up to 25%) Requirements: • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience • Previous procurement experience • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. • Experience in Government procurement • SAP experience • Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4) • Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) • Ability to understand technical requirements for procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers.
