Our energetic, and collaborative Global Supply Change Management team offers an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic growth-oriented environment in support of the Rapid Procurement department, which manages the engineering and development procurements for multiple mission areas. You will foster relationships with suppliers and subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services. You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of the various contracts. What You Will Do Place subcontracts/purchase orders of medium/high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements Support supplier development and production activities for mechanical suppliers (hardware/mechanical items) Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy for production hardware and build to print mechanical parts Prepare, issue, and analyze RFPs Perform price/cost analysis techniques in support of proposals and PO placement Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms & Conditions) Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc) to achieve objectives including financial goals Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical and quality) in support of flawless supplier execution for programs Coordinate meetings between suppliers and internal customers Support occasional program travel needs to visit suppliers as needed Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
