Collins Aerospace and the Enterprise Operations Industry 4.0 team are seeking a Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) business process specialist to help drive the transformation of our factories to harmonized processes and fully automated and digital tools. This initiative will drive shop floor manufacturing efficiency, improved end user experience, prepare sites for impending ERP system transformations and enable site manufacturing teams for further industry 4.0 capabilities such as model based enterprises. The team supports 150+ Collins manufacturing sites globally to optimize manufacturing processes and set strategy for digital transformation. The Industry 4.0 organization is growing at Collins Aerospace to support many major business projects. These key initiatives include implementing and upgrading our Manufacturing Execution System (Solumina), shop floor data analytics, middleware applications, process optimization / standardization, Advanced Manufacturing initiatives (RFID, AOI, AMRs, AI, and more) and SAP alignments. The ideal candidate must possess the leadership drive, and problem-solving aptitude, to gather business requirements and map those to the incoming industry 4.0 capabilities. Furthermore, this candidate will have worked in manufacturing environments, has a passion for learning new technology, can define and solve complex business problems using the latest industry technology and feel confident influencing change across the Collins SBUs and sites. With the proper training, the individual would possess the willingness and desire to become a manufacturing business process and MES application subject matter expert. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
