Role Description This role involves leading the Learning & Development (L&D) team at Raytheon, reporting to the VP of Talent. You will work closely with various teams to shape a modern, learner-centric strategy that supports enterprise goals. • Set the Vision & Strategy: Develop and lead the Raytheon knowledge and learning ecosystem strategy aligned with RTX values and business goals. • Partner & Influence Across Matrixed Organization: Collaborate with various teams to assess learning needs and co-create scalable solutions. • Manage Vendor Strategy for Raytheon Leader & All Employee Development: Build and manage a strategic vendor ecosystem to support learning needs. • Design Targeted Leader Development Solutions: Implement targeted development programs that build leadership capabilities. • Lead & Grow the Team: Coach and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. • Measure Impact: Define and track success metrics to evaluate learning outcomes and program effectiveness. • Champion Innovation: Stay ahead of learning trends and partner with the RTX L&D team to pilot new tools. • Lead Change & Communication: Develop and execute communication plans to drive successful adoption of learning initiatives. Qualifications • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience. • Experience in Human Resources, Learning, Talent Development, Knowledge Management, and/or Organizational Effectiveness. • Experience leading HR or L&D teams responsible for delivering programs using project management processes. • Experience leading HR or L&D change initiatives within matrixed organizations. • Experience with innovative learning technologies and trends, including digital learning and/or AI-enabled solutions. Requirements • Experience clearly articulating a case for change and presenting compelling solutions. • Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design principles, and learning measurement methodologies. • Experience developing recommendations for external vendor solutions. • Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong business acumen with proven ability to connect learning strategy into organizational outcomes. • Effective collaborator that can build partnerships and influence stakeholders.
