What You Will Do: The successful candidate will support a combination of tasks including data entry, document drafting, and communicating cross-functionally in support of Military Engines Contracts Management Organization (MECMO) initiatives throughout Pratt & Whitney. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role. As the Contract Data Specialist, you will be the primary focal point for external and internal customers regarding contract issues and interpretation of requirements; therefore, strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. You will have the opportunity to exercise discretion and work independently as well as provide leadership and expertise in developing innovative solutions to complex issues. This position requires significant interaction with various managers within and outside the organization. The successful candidate will be an independent learner and possess demonstrated team working skills. You should possess strong document drafting skills, an understanding of aerospace business and legal issues, and familiarity with CORE process improvement tools. Travel for this role is around 10%. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of contract and/or data management experience; OR an Advanced Degree and 3+ years of contract and/or data management experience. U.S. citizenship required, due to government contracts. Qualifications We Prefer: Ability to obtain Secret level U.S. government issued security clearance is preferred. Experience with FAR and DFARs is strongly preferred. Familiarity with United States Customs processes is preferred. Provide contracting knowledge sufficient to provide advice and counsel to the program teams and others as required. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
