We are seeking a visionary and hands-on User Experience (UX) Manager to lead a high-performing team of designers and researchers in crafting intuitive, innovative, and impactful digital experiences. This role is responsible for shaping the end-to-end user experience strategy — including UI/UX design, visual design, and interaction patterns — across our portfolio of digital products and services. You’ll be at the forefront of user-centered design, championing design thinking, spearheading cutting-edge interaction methodologies, and ensuring our digital touchpoints are both functional and delightful. This is a key leadership role blending design leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration. What You Will Do: UX Strategy & Design Leadership Lead the visioning, research, modeling, and delivery of end-user experience for digital products and services. Experience in UX strategy, design standards, accessibility principles, and usability best practices. Drive the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that bring clarity to complex design challenges. Experience with “design thinking” methodologies to promote empathy-driven, iterative problem solving. Team Management & Development Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of 6–10 UX professionals, including UI designers, UX researchers, and visual designers. Create growth plans, provide ongoing feedback, and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and design excellence. Prioritize workload and assign resources to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of design work. User Research & Testing Set and execute a vision for user research and usability testing practices. Define and refine research protocols, user testing strategies, and metrics to validate design decisions. Lead persona development, customer journey mapping, and user flow optimization to guide the product development lifecycle. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals. Serve as the voice of the user in cross-functional discussions, balancing user needs with technical and business constraints. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design fidelity and scalability in implementation. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years experience. 5+ years of UX/UI or interaction design experience with 7+ years of people leadership. Experience leading UX teams in a fast-paced, agile product development environment. A portfolio showcasing a range of design skills including research, visual/UI design, and interaction design. Experience with user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design. Experience with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, etc.) and prototyping frameworks. Experience using metrics, testing insights, and customer feedback to inform design strategy. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience in enterprise software, fintech, industrial, or B2B product environments. Familiarity with design systems and component-based development. The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
