What You Will Do: Pratt & Whitney (P&W) Digital Technology (DT) team is seeking a high-energy individual to join our Engineering Services directorate, where you will have the opportunity to manage the operations and delivery of one of our PLM Enterprise platforms, in support of the PW Engineering program teams. You will be the manager for a highly collaborative team responsible for delivery of software to our Engineering and Manufacturing customers. Key responsibilities: - Lead the deliveries of the DT team of +60 PLM Professionals (internal/contractor analysts, architects, developers, and administrators) responsible for the PW US Enterprise PLM platform – Based on Siemens software portfolio (Teamcenter, NX, OpCenter). - Execute solution deliveries for all active PLM projects in coordination with cross-functional teams in DT, like Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Project Management Office, etc. Support projects deliverables (scope, budget, schedule, risk, etc.). - Develop project/delivery structure of the team with our PW Project Management Office and the global Head of PLM, assign or hire resources. - Partner with our Engineering/Business teams to ensure all Service-Level-Agreements are met, for Business continuity - Avoiding any downtime or delay on Enhancements deployments. As well, provide DT Consulting to our internal Businesses. - Find opportunities of department optimization, working with the global Head of PLM, e.g. : Review department Make-or-Buy policy to focus your internal team on strategic deliveries, insource critical activities, and leverage global PLM workforce in India and Canada. Review existing services and project agreements with our major suppliers, and propose optimizations to mitigate risks, reduce costs, improve deliverables and execution, as well as partnership opportunities. - Develop talents within the team, appropriate skills and growth paths for employees. Monitor workload, manage tasks and priorities, recognize and promote achievements. - Contribute to the roadmap conversations to build near-term and long-term strategies, working with the Integrated Product Lifecycle team. Qualifications You Must Have: - Bachelor's Degree (preferred fields include Computer Science, Engineering, MIS) and 12+ years of experience in Information Technology; OR an Advanced Degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 10+ years of experience in Information Technology. - 7+ years’ experience within Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or any other similar technical role. - 5+ years’ experience with leadership of a large technical team. - Experience with the successful delivery of Enterprise PLM deployments and major upgrades. - Experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master, or multiple years of leading Agile deliveries/regular stand-ups meetings, planning sessions, demos / reviews. - Experience with PLM Cloud and DevSevOps (software pipelines, cybersecurity, testing best practices, automation of deployment, etc.). - Knowledge of Engineering processes (Engineering disciplines, PLM, workflows, approvals routing, etc.). - Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, accountability, work ethic, negotiation skills. - Reliable, rigorous, committed to solve problems, act with discernment. Ready to challenge the status quo. - Self-starter with self-confidence, enthusiasm, and customer mindset to build strong relationships. - Exceptional written and oral communication skills, can develop clear, concise and logically written business communications, as well as deliver recommendations effectively to demanding audiences. - Ability to remain calm and cope with pressure, in a fast-paced environment of complex business priorities with tight deadlines. - U.S. Citizenship required due to Government contractual requirements.
