The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: The Assoc Dir, Operations Lead & Strategy – Enterprise Services Applications Operations Supply Chain & Engineering will provide strategic, analytical, technical, organizational and procedural support to the VP, ESA OSC & Engineering to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The operations leader will facilitate financial management, support the OSC & Engineering Applications projects portfolio, coordinate strategic visioning and planning, and support the service line by leading special projects. This role will also facilitate in developing a 3–5-year strategy across the entire OSC and Engineering Applications landscape. What You Will Do: Coordinate strategic visioning and planning across the OSC & Engineering Applications service line to shape, communicate, and execute the service line strategy and transformation efforts. Drive portfolio, program, project management and execution across OSC & Engineering Applications. This role will assist the VP, ESA OSC and Engineering in creating the strategy and vision across these spaces with the goal of growing the Enterprise Services Applications for OSC and Engineering. Establishes process and best practices for managing the ESA OSC & Engineering budget. This role will help with transition from staff augment labor to outcome-based SOWs to help in reducing risk of co-employment and Time and Material based arrangements with our Suppliers. Establishes process and best practice for application service delivery following standard IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL) across major processes. Service level management, incident/problem management, service fulfillment, and security/compliance. Establishes standard work for ESA team participating in audit – coordinates ESA support for internal and external audits. This role will be critical in helping he ESA VP of OSC and Engineering in getting cross BU and cross-functional buy in on the strategy and will require strong influential and presentation ability to executive level leadership leveraging high level of executive presence and polish. Responsible for the quality and timely leadership of critical projects and tasks related to this position as they are assigned by cognizant leadership. Perform a wide variety of special assignments to assist the VP, ESA OSC & Engineering in meeting business obligations. Communicate effectively with a high sense of discretion. Excellent technical, analytical, project management and presentation skills with experience in modeling and graphic representations. Experience in working in matrix organizations leading strategy and transformation efforts across multiple teams, BUs etc. Experience in owning and developing critical strategic and operational goals that have significant impact to the achievement of results and demonstrated expertise in financial planning, procurement, vendor management etc. Demonstrated strong leadership interacting with customer including written and verbal communication, relationship building, and negotiation and experience in financial management of a multi-million-dollar budget, estimating and forecasting. Qualifications We Prefer: 12+ years of experience preferred in application development, strategy, transformation, and portfolio management with strong leadership skills and experience in driving strategy & transformation within DT organization roles preferred. Strategic thinker and should be able to influence executive leadership Experience in finance application services will be preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
