The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Communications Team: The Associate Director, Executive Communications, part of the RTX Global Employee Engagement team, serves as a strategic advisor and storyteller for the Raytheon business president, shaping narratives that inspire employees and reinforce the company’s mission and Raytheon’s priorities. This highly visible role partners closely with senior leaders to deliver clear, compelling messaging that drives alignment and engagement across the organization. What You Will Do Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive communication plans aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities. Manage end-to-end execution of projects, leading matrixed support teams and ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Develop compelling messaging, speeches, presentations and thought leadership content that amplify RTX and Raytheon strategic priorities and resonate with a global audience. Ensure messaging is aligned with business priorities, consistent across channels and sensitive to external market dynamics. Partner with cross-functional teams, including strategic business units, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Strategy, HR, Legal and Communications centers of expertise (COEs) to drive cohesive and aligned communication efforts. Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on communication best practices, offering insights to enhance engagement, message delivery and impact. Maintain a deep understanding of business performance, market dynamics and stakeholder expectations to ensure communication remains timely, relevant and meaningful. Act as a champion for employee engagement initiatives that strengthen organizational alignment and a sense of purpose. Continuously evaluate and refine communication processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage metrics and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making and measure the impact of communication efforts. Stay ahead of emerging trends in executive communications, introducing innovative tools and forward-thinking approaches to the team. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in executive communications, including the use of digital platforms to achieve measurable outcomes within complex or regulated industries. Proficient in managing operational tasks with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Proven skills in writing, editing, and strategic messaging to deliver clear, concise, and impactful communication. Background in continuous communication improvements leveraging metrics, feedback, and analytics to enhance communication effectiveness. Qualifications We Prefer Master’s degree in Communications or related field. Experience in aerospace, defense or highly regulated industries. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Poppulo and other communication tools. Role Type: Hybrid Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
