We are looking for an experienced candidate to lead the Tube-launched, Optically-tracked, Wireless-guided (TOW) Contracts team and portfolio of programs. The TOW programs reside within the Precision Fires & Maneuvers Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) within Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) in Tucson, AZ. This position will provide the necessary Contracts leadership consisting of 4 Contracts Professionals and require adeptness at developing and maintaining strong, credible, and productive relationships with both partners and Customers. This role will report directly to the Director, Contracts of the Precision Fires & Maneuvers SSBU. This portfolio is currently comprised of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) contracting with a near term roadmap for Direct Commercial Sales (DCS). In this role, the successful candidate will have supervisory responsibility over 4 Contracts Professionals, responsible for their growth and development, as well as leading the front-end of the business assessments and strategy development, supporting the development and execution of sound capture and negotiations strategies, internal and external customer relationships, ensuring contracting actions are proactively supportive of the business’s long range financial planning, and tactical / foundational contracting knowledge of team is sound. This role is remote but will require 25-30% travel to Tucson, AZ to meet with the program team or travel to other locations including Customer sites.
