The ideal candidate is based out of Windsor Locks, CT location, but the opportunity to work remotely will be considered. What You Will Do Lead, train, guide and develop a team of Contracts professionals and/or managers in a variety of areas: Negotiation strategy Terms and Conditions Contractual and Business Change management Proposal management Risk mitigation and business management Audit support Letter writing Contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Requirement interpretation and flowdown Provide performance feedback and employee support to team members on a regular basis in accordance with company and functional expectations. Develop process improvement to enhance functional performance. Establish relationships with internal and external customers. Manage financial and operational impacts to the Business Unit. Model and mentor in the areas of business judgement, strategic vision, forward thinking, critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and other intangible business skills required for successful business support. Provide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues. Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP) Conduct proposal reviews and coordinate customer responses. Interpret and draft Contract language. Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies and if not communicate differences and mitigate risks. Support program management and execution reviews. Work closely with the Value Stream Leaders/Program Managers on strategy for competitive pursuits, including development Intellectual Property and investment strategy. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
