Full Description

Description: • Lead design and implementation of scalable IT solution architectures for Supply Chain processes within Product Lifecycle Services (PLS) • Define and deliver 1-, 3-, and 5-year architectural strategies and roadmaps aligned with RTX business objectives • Partner with Business Relationship Managers and supply chain leaders to align technical roadmaps with enterprise goals • Integrate emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, blockchain) into application architecture to enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and resilience • Develop logical reference architectures, best practices, patterns, maturity models, and roadmaps for supply chain IT solutions enterprise-wide • Guide technical architecture groups and communities of practice; socialize strategies and educate stakeholders • Ensure solutions comply with RTX IT policies and industry standards while minimizing complexity and maximizing scalability • Provide mentorship and thought leadership to the architecture community and IT teams; guide solution architecture teams across organization • Align IT solutions with business objectives, integrate emerging technologies, and drive vision for enterprise architecture across business units Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Architecture, Computer Science, or related field plus at least 12 years IT/systems architecture/systems design/systems engineering experience; or Master's degree with 10 years related experience • Proven track record developing, delivering, and supporting enterprise-scale applications, specifically in supply chain environments • Expertise in architecture frameworks and methods (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF, SAFe Architect); certifications highly advantageous • Experience migrating on-premises applications/infrastructure to the cloud (AWS/Azure) and designing cloud-native solutions • Strong understanding of supply chain IT systems and tools, including ERP platforms (e.g., SAP), supply chain management tools, and data integration platforms • Experience integrating emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, predictive analytics, digital twins, RPA • Significant experience in IT Operations and budget management, including managing multi-million-dollar projects • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to debate, negotiate, influence, and collaborate with senior leaders and vendors • Experience leading technical architecture teams, mentoring, and establishing technology standards • Experience with/understanding of Supply Chain Management and Project Management; PMP preferred • Architecture certifications (e.g., RTX Certified Architect - RCAP, TOGAF, Zachman) and ITIL Certification preferred • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or authorized to work without sponsorship) • Security Clearance: None/Not Required Benefits: • Compensation • Healthcare, wellness benefits • Medical, dental, vision insurance • Life insurance • Short-term disability • Long-term disability • 401(k) match • Flexible spending accounts • Paid time off and holidays • Parental (including paternal) leave • Flexible work schedules • Achievement awards • Educational assistance / Employee Scholar Program • Child/adult backup care • Employee assistance program • Career development and recognition programs • Eligibility for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs
