Job Title: Data Analysis Associate Status: Temporary Contract Assignment Length: 1-2 months Office Status: Remote Compensation: $20.00 per hour Location: Washington, DC Healthcare Benefits: none • **Candidates must currently be living in the Washington, DC area*** Work with a major national healthcare nonprofit in the Quality, Research, & Measurement Department. Tasks include verifying submitted data, preparing data for aggregation, and finalizing reports on the aggregated data. Responsibilities: • Compare data on Excel file to data submitted on a PDF and note any differences in the Excel file (Oct) • Use a VLOOKUP in Excel to compare list of ~700 respondents required to report data to the list of respondents received and note variances (Sept/Oct) • Send Login/Passwords to accredited organizations who need to submit data, as needed via email (Sept/Oct) • Aggregate Reports (Nov/Dec) • Map data file to be able to complete a mail merge in MS Word and then convert to PDF • Ensure formatting is correct and make any edits in PDF • Split PDF into 700+ individual reports • Rename 700+ files according to provided syntax Skills: • Excel (VLOOKUP, Sorting, Check for Duplicate, able to navigate Pivot Table) • PDF/ MS Word (mail merge from a data file, combining documents, editing and formatting, and splitting large documents into smaller client specific documents • Detail Oriented to ensure confidentiality of client data is not sent to other organizations • Communication (frequent updates on progress) • Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks and issues of varying complexity, while managing priorities and meeting deadlines. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to generate original correspondence and reports and convey ideas clearly and effectively.
