Logistics • Location: Hybrid — Austin area preferred for in-person mentorship • Hours: Flexible; we’ll work with your schedule • Pay: $20/hour • Duration: Fall semester (12–16 weeks) About The Role Curious about how media really works in advertising? Want to learn how campaigns go from idea to execution? We’re looking for a media-savvy, data-curious intern to join our team this fall. You’ll get hands-on exposure to both strategy and execution—learning how to plan, buy, and optimize digital campaigns across platforms like Google and Meta. You’ll work alongside experienced pros and contribute to real client projects while soaking up everything you can about this fast-paced, ever-changing industry. What We Are Looking For • Currently enrolled as a junior, senior, or community college student (sophomores eligible if transferring) • Based in or near Austin, TX • Majoring in: Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, Mathematics, or Analytics/Data Science • Strong interest in social media, digital campaigns, or brand strategy • Detail-oriented, reliable, and open to feedback What You’ll Learn This is not a coffee run internship. You’ll be part of the real work and walk away with real skills. By the end of the program, you’ll understand: • How media campaigns are built, launched, and managed • What it takes to analyze performance and turn insights into action • How to collaborate with creatives, strategists, and vendors alike • The ins and outs of modern ad tools and platforms • What it’s like to work at a nationally recognized agency that wins awards—and has fun doing it What You’ll Do • Support our media team in tracking campaign performance and learning how to make data-driven optimizations • Research media outlets, request and review media kits, and gather insights from trade publications and reps • Help compile data and interpret media performance metrics • Learn how to process media recommendations and support trafficking tasks • Assist with POVs, recommendations, and internal media documents • Sit in on meetings with clients and vendors and help prep materials • Keep our media resources organized and up-to-date • Contribute to a team that values curiosity, accountability, and just enough caffeine Requirements Must-Haves • Strong communication skills (writing, talking, meme-sharing all count) • A love for numbers, stats, and patterns—you don’t need to be a math major, just not math-averse • Eagerness to learn and take initiative • A background in marketing, communications, business, or related coursework • 0–1 years of experience in the field (college projects and internships count) Nice-to-Haves (But Not Required) • Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Slides • Exposure to Google Analytics or digital ad platforms like Meta and Google Ads • Curiosity about media trends and the future of digital advertising Why This Internship Because you want more than a line on your résumé.
