RouteSmart Technologies, a leader in vehicle route optimization software technology, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team. This role will report directly to the VP of Product Management and is responsible for driving product planning and execution throughout the entire product lifecycle. Key responsibilities include gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and collaborating closely with development, sales, marketing, and support teams to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The Senior Product Manager will ensure that all products align with the company’s overall strategy and objectives. This position will focus on envisioning and creating descriptions of new features and user experiences for RouteSmart products, with a strong emphasis on mobile application development. Using the Agile development process, this individual will create user stories for potential development items and participate in prioritizing and managing timely feature development across product lines. Effective communication within the organization regarding planned features and timeline projections is a critical aspect of this role. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with a deep understanding of user needs to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that enhance the RouteSmart product suite. The starting salary for this position is anticipated to be in the range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year. At RouteSmart Technologies, Inc., we offer various base pay ranges depending on the work location within the US. Please note that base pay may differ based on your level of experience. This position is ideally hybrid. However, we are open to remote. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage the development of mobile applications Work with clients, sales, and support teams to gather and prioritize RouteSmart product and customer requirements Develop user stories in the Agile development process for new features and enhancements in RouteSmart products Assist in prioritizing tasks and features for inclusion in future releases Ensure timely development and delivery of prioritized tasks and features Communicate product direction and progress toward releases across the organization Serve as product manager for specific features or custom development efforts Validate reported bugs and collaborate with client services on issue resolution Provide testing and quality assurance for new features and bug fixes Support processes for bug tracking and enhancement requests with client services Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product management or quality assurance Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients in a non-technical manner and with developers in a technical capacity Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Minimal travel required Education & Experience Experience in mobile application development or management is required Bachelor’s degree in related area such as: GIS/Geography/Business Understanding of the Agile development process preferred Experience with GIS software RouteSmart offers its employees numerous opportunities for professional development.
