Role Overview: As an Operations Research Analyst at RouteSmart Technologies, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our routing solvers to improve performance and scalability. You will work closely with the Research & Development team to apply advanced analytical methods and optimization techniques that drive impactful business solutions. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement mathematical models and algorithms to optimize routing and scheduling problems. - You will analyze large datasets to identify trends and improve solver accuracy and efficiency. - You will collaborate with software engineers to integrate optimization solutions into production systems. - You will conduct experiments and simulations to validate model performance and scalability. - You will document methodologies and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - You will stay current with the latest research in operations research and optimization techniques. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Research & Development team. What You Bring: - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. - At least 3 years of experience in operations research, optimization, or a related analytical role. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java. - Strong knowledge of optimization solvers and mathematical modeling. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with routing and logistics software development. - Familiarity with machine learning techniques and data analytics. - Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant discipline. - Experience working in an Agile development environment.
