Role Overview: As an Operations Research Analyst at RouteSmart Technologies, you will play a critical role in advancing our routing solver technologies. You will work closely with the Research & Development team to develop, test, and enhance algorithms that improve routing efficiency and support strategic decision-making. What You'll Do: - You will analyze complex routing problems and develop mathematical models to optimize solutions. - You will design, implement, and test algorithms to improve the performance of routing solvers. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into product development. - You will conduct data analysis to identify trends and inform algorithm improvements. - You will document research processes, methodologies, and results clearly and comprehensively. - You will stay current with the latest developments in operations research and related fields. - You will assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. - You have 3+ years of experience in operations research, algorithm development, or a similar analytical role. - You are proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java. - You have strong skills in mathematical modeling, optimization techniques, and statistical analysis. - You possess excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - You have effective communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with routing or logistics software development. - Familiarity with machine learning techniques and data science tools. - Knowledge of GIS systems and spatial data analysis. - Experience working in an Agile development environment.
