Role Overview: As a Front-End Software Engineer at RouteSmart Technologies, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing user-friendly web applications that support our route optimization software. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Software Engineer and cross-functional teams to create seamless, high-performance interfaces that improve user experience. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies. - You will collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. - You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. - You will troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues to ensure optimal application performance. - You will work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow. - You will stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and recommend their adoption when appropriate. - You will contribute to the overall product roadmap by providing technical insights and user feedback. What You Bring: - 3+ years of professional experience in front-end web development. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React or Angular. - Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. - Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. - Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with TypeScript and state management libraries like Redux. - Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Prior experience in logistics or route optimization software development.
