Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at RouteSmart Technologies, you will play a critical role in our IT Infrastructure & Security Department. Reporting directly to the Sr. Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure to support scalable and secure software deployments. What You'll Do: - You will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. - You will collaborate with development and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. - You will monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability. - You will automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors. - You will implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes. - You will participate in incident response and root cause analysis. - You will document infrastructure configurations and deployment procedures. - You will stay updated with emerging DevOps tools and technologies to recommend improvements. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years experience in DevOps or related IT infrastructure roles. - Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible. - Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards. - Knowledge of network architecture and firewall management. - Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
