Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at RouteSmart Technologies, you will play a critical role in supporting our IT Infrastructure & Security Department. Reporting directly to the Sr. Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment and robust security. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions to support our software applications. - You will automate deployment pipelines and configuration management to improve efficiency and reliability. - You will monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability. - You will collaborate with development and security teams to integrate best practices in CI/CD and security. - You will manage cloud environments and optimize resource usage and costs. - You will participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning. - You will document infrastructure configurations and processes for team knowledge sharing. - You will stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related IT infrastructure roles. - Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Strong skills in automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with vehicle routing or logistics software environments. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar. - Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
