Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at RouteSmart Technologies, you will play a critical role in supporting our IT Infrastructure & Security Department. Reporting directly to the Sr. Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance of our software solutions. What You'll Do: - You will design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure using automation tools. - You will collaborate with development and security teams to integrate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - You will monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal uptime. - You will implement security best practices to protect infrastructure and data. - You will manage cloud environments and on-premises servers to support application needs. - You will document processes and provide training to team members on infrastructure and security protocols. - You will participate in disaster recovery planning and execution. - You will stay updated with emerging technologies to recommend improvements. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or related IT infrastructure roles. - Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar. - Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and system monitoring tools. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator. - Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices. - Background in software development or security engineering.
