Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at RouteSmart Technologies, you will play a critical role in our IT Infrastructure & Security Department. Reporting directly to the Sr. Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure to support scalable and secure software deployments. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes. - You will monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. - You will collaborate with development and security teams to integrate security best practices into the deployment lifecycle. - You will troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues promptly. - You will manage configuration and infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible. - You will participate in capacity planning and performance tuning of systems. - You will document processes and maintain operational runbooks. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related IT infrastructure roles. - Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Hands-on knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible. - Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and Linux system administration. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator. - Background in software development or automation engineering.
