Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at RouteSmart Technologies, you will play a critical role in our IT Infrastructure & Security Department. Reporting directly to the Sr. Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure to support scalable and secure software deployments. What You'll Do: - You will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. - You will collaborate with development and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. - You will monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability. - You will automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors. - You will implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes. - You will participate in incident response and root cause analysis. - You will document infrastructure configurations and deployment procedures. - You will stay current with emerging technologies to recommend improvements. What You Bring: - You bring 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related IT infrastructure roles. - You have strong skills in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - You are proficient with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. - You have experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - You possess solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - You have a good understanding of network security and infrastructure monitoring. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Familiarity with security compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2. - Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Background in software development or system administration.
