Role Overview: As a Cloud Engineer at RouteSmart Technologies, you will play a critical role in our IT Infrastructure & Security Department. Reporting to the Sr. Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to ensure robust, scalable, and secure operations. What You'll Do: - You will design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions that support our software applications. - You will monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with existing IT systems. - You will implement security best practices to protect cloud environments from threats. - You will automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. - You will participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity. - You will document cloud architecture and operational procedures for internal teams. - You will stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and recommend improvements. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related IT infrastructure roles. - Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and security principles. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Background in vehicle routing or logistics software environments.
