About The Role The mission of Strategic Implementation Manager is to guide new clients through Routable’s mass payment and AP solutions. Primarily you will get the opportunity to showcase your work on large Mid-Market clients typically requiring multiple quarters to complete. You will complement these larger deals with a small portfolio of large SMB 90 day projects. You will use your project management, training and objection handling skills to win the hearts and minds of our new clients during the implementation phase. You also get the opportunity to rally cross functional teams from Product, Engineering, Sales and Support who are eager and very customer friendly to help you successfully drive adoption. Measures of success in this role include accounting technical competency, ability to train and drive adoption, ramping both transactions and billing revenue. This role forms deep connections with our clients at all levels of their organization, and provides a main point of contact during this important portion of their customer lifecycle. Responsibilities • Deliver strategic implementation results that combine both Implementation and Adoption results. Both are tracked with the lens of Time to Value. Ensure project success by tracking project documentation and timelines, guiding clients from discovery to go live. • Capture Sold Revenue. You also will uncover and book add-on Revenue during the Implementation process. • Be a player coach by directly leading multiple implementation projects at a time. Results include ramped Transactions, ramped Billing Revenue, and the creation of Routable promoters that graduate to Customer Success. Assist your team to accomplish the same results. • Become a Routable Expert. This skill is required to help clients master our current product and understand the rapidly growing product roadmap. You should help clients love our product of today and make sure they eagerly look forward to our future product growth. • Work cross-functionally across Pre Sales and Post Sales to achieve process and success alignment. We enjoy working together solving the problems that naturally exist between Technology, Process, and our Customers. Enjoy the journey. • Work cross-functionally. As the front line of adoption you are exposed to a myriad of customer options and requests. You should be able to communicate fluently with our product and engineering teams to help develop a best-in-class solution as our product evolves. • Provide clear and organized reporting regarding results, activities and updates. Follow our onboarding playbooks and make improvements to our current process. Your reporting and findings will be consumed company wide for ongoing learnings and impact. Minimum Qualifications • Experience with fintech and payments • Experience with technical integrations and implementations • Experience with project management, consulting, or customer success experience around SaaS applications • Successful professional track record in a customer-facing capacity • Self-starter and comfortable in a fast past startup environment • Comfortable leading discovery conversations, training sessions, and troubleshooting with clients • Driven to hit and exceed operational targets Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with accounting principles and ledgers (Netsuite, QBO, Sage, etc.) • Accounts Payable knowledge • Experience implementing APIs Location You must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
