In this role, you will support store leadership by managing essential clerical tasks, coordinating payroll, and maintaining the operational backbone of the store. Qualifications: • Strong verbal communication skills and full fluency in English. • Previous experience in customer service or a supervisory capacity is preferred. • Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and standard office software applications. • Capable of performing fundamental mathematical calculations common in a retail setting. • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the store for the duration of a shift. • Physical capability to bend, kneel, reach, and occasionally lift or push items weighing over 25 lbs. Responsibilities: • Handle essential payroll administration, including managing daily punch edits and ensuring Sunday payroll transmissions are accurate. • Support the Store Manager with administrative duties such as scheduling compliance and generating operational reports. • Oversee Front End operations, including managing cash pulls, bank deposits, and securing funds in the store safe. • Maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring store entrances, exits, and fire alarm systems. • Supervise and coach associates on proper register procedures, shortage control, and the "Scan and Bag" best practice. • Assist with general merchandising tasks, including processing inbound non-merchandise deliveries and maintaining stockroom organization. • Uphold the company brand by ensuring the sales floor is clean, well-merchandised, and that all associates follow the dress code. • Act as a Manager on Duty when required, overseeing store opening/closing and responding to after-hours alarms. • Provide exceptional customer service and foster a professional, respectful environment for both shoppers and staff.
