Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary Manager on Duty, overseeing total store operations and ensuring a safe, secure environment for all shoppers and staff. • Direct the merchandising lifecycle, from truck offloading and stockroom organization to floor placement and promotional signing. • Lead Loss Prevention efforts by maintaining high visibility, conducting audits, and ensuring all security protocols including EAS and cash office safety—are strictly followed. • Optimize the customer experience by managing Front End flow, reducing wait times, and coaching associates on service standards. • Supervise specialized areas such as Fitting Rooms and the Stockroom to ensure cleanliness, organization, and efficient "go-back" processing. • Manage administrative priorities including payroll administration, bank deposits, and associate scheduling compliance. • Promote the Ross brand by enforcing dress code standards and maintaining a high level of professional excellence across the store. • Mentor and train associates to build a talent pipeline, ensuring the store is staffed with knowledgeable and motivated professionals.
