Pharmacy Technician Instructors help take care of students through their lifecycle with Ross! We are looking for experienced online instructors for full online students in our PHT programs. Working with students on achieving a certificate/diploma Use Ross curriculum, supplemented with your own work/life experiences and medical knowledge. You will have regular communication and interaction with your students through your comments and discussions. This is an active and supportive online environment for students, so you will need to allow enough time each week to communicate promptly with students and other staff. Training and "ramp up" hours are provided. PH Tech QualificationsRequirements Prior teaching experience teaching online using a contemporary LMS or as an online student using Canvas or D2L/Brightspace preferred 3+ years’ recent experience in the field as a Pharmacy Technician and formal training from an accredited institution. Must hold or be able to obtain a national certification as Pharmacy Technician, and a license within your state, as required. Individuals without a formal education, must have with a minimum of 5+ years’ recent experience working as a Pharmacy Technician and a current national certification. Additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements. No prior teaching experience required. Must supply own equipment and have reliable high speed internet access Must live/work in a state where Ross already does business or has employees (MI, OH, IN, KY, TN, WV, IA, NM, FL, GA, AZ, AL) Strongly Preferred: Ross Graduate or former Ross Instructor Ability to use current technology to maintain student records Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced work environment Ability to achieve or maintain credential and/or licensure within expected time frames Demonstrates professionalism in manner, dress and conduct as a representative of Ross and a student mentor Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally Attention to detail and commitment to quality Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics Perform related work as required Ross Education is an Equal Opportunity Employer
