Full Description

Roof Penetration Housing (RPH) is a dynamic, rapidly expanding leader in the commercial building products industry, trusted by architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners on a wide range of critical projects—from hospitals and data centers to K-12 schools. Our innovative, engineered solutions prevent roof and wall leaks and ensure storm shelters and safe rooms meet code requirements and protect occupants during severe weather events. Year to date, RPH has successfully doubled revenue year over year—with momentum showing no signs of slowing. We’re experiencing rapid expansion across both our New Jersey and Texas locations, and we’re excited to grow our powerhouse team as we continue setting new benchmarks for performance, safety, and success in commercial construction. About the Role We’re seeking a part-time, junior to mid-level Talent Acquisition Specialist (1099) who can own the day-to-day recruiting process for RPH, a high growth, rapidly expanding team. You’ll work closely with HR and hiring managers to understand needs, source and screen candidates, and move them through a structured, candidate-friendly process. This role is best suited for someone who has recruited for manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments and enjoys building processes in a growing, entrepreneurial company. This role is not open to agencies, and we will not respond to agency reach out. What You’ll Do Partner with HR leadership and hiring managers to understand current and upcoming hiring needs. Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other creative channels. Screen candidates (resume review + phone/video screens) and present qualified shortlists. Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and help drive a positive and consistent candidate experience. Maintain an organized pipeline of candidates. Represent RPH’s brand professionally and provide a positive candidate experience throughout the process. What We’re Looking For Must-Haves 1–4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience (internal or contract). Experience recruiting for manufacturing, construction, or industrial roles (or very similar blue-collar / field / operations environments). Comfortable owning the full-cycle recruiting process for multiple roles at once. Strong communication skills and professionalism with candidates, HR and hiring managers. Ability to work independently, manage your time, and hit agreed-upon timelines as a contractor. Nice-to-Haves Experience with basic ATS, including Breezy.hr or candidate tracking tools (even spreadsheets/Notion is fine). Prior experience scaling a small company or startup. Familiarity with hiring for both hourly and salaried roles. Work Arrangement Remote role with flexibility in working hours. Preference for candidates in the NJ/PA/NY tri-state area for easier collaboration and occasional in-person meetings if needed. Approximately 15–25 hours per week, depending on hiring volume and mutual agreement. Initial contract term of ~6 months, with potential to extend. Compensation (Option A – Junior to Mid-Level 1099) Hourly rate (1099 contractor): Target range: $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience and fit. Estimated hours: ~15–25 hours per week, with a reasonable monthly cap agreed upfront (e.g., around 80–90 hours/month unless pre-approved). This is a 1099 contractor role (not eligible for employee benefits during the contract period). Potential to Move to Full-Time. We anticipate continued growth and increasing hiring needs. For the right person, there is potential to convert this role into a full-time W-2 Talent Acquisition position based on: Performance and impact in the contractor role Ongoing business needs and budget Mutual interest in a long-term, in-house position If converted, full-time compensation and benefits would be discussed and agreed at that time. When Applying Please be sure to send the following to include; your resume and LinkedIn profile, a brief note describing relevant recruiting experience, especially in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments, your current location and preferred working hours.
