We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual for the Asphalt Plants Project Manager position with our Operations Service & Support department located at our corporate office in Nashville, TN. This position will report directly to the Corporate Asphalt Plants Manager. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. The individual who accepts this assignment will be responsible for meeting the challenge of growth-oriented assignments and interacting with a wide-range of people ranging from company executives to external agencies and contractors. The applicant will be responsible for operational improvement and project management of new and existing asphalt plants. The applicant must understand the planning, permitting, design, and troubleshooting of asphalt production facilities as well as prepare project proposals, cost estimates, designs, and schedules. Job Responsibilities: Project planning, permitting, cost estimating, design, drafting, scheduling, and reporting. Provide detailed designs for asphalt plant retrofit and modification projects. Assist in the coordination of outside engineering, fabrication and erection services. Prepare proposals, cost estimates and justifications for future work. Schedule work to meet completion dates, technical specifications, functional requirements and budget constraints. Analyze asphalt production processes and performance metrics to identify enhancements that eliminate bottlenecks and increase efficiency. May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform other duties not listed. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in appropriate technical field; degreed Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineer or Electrical Engineer preferred but not required. A minimum of 5 years of project management experience preferred but not required. PMP or CPM certification preferred but not required. Working knowledge of structural, civil, and mechanical design of asphalt plants or related field. Working knowledge of concrete foundation designs and power transmission systems. Working knowledge of surveying and drafting equipment. Working knowledge of drafting and site planning in AutoCAD or equivalent. Working knowledge of MS Windows systems (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint). Experience with erection, modification and refurbishment of asphalt plants or related equipment.
