We are seeking a Director of Strategic Projects to play a pivotal role in defining and executing our growth agenda, aligned with our core sustainability principles.This position will be based in Chicago, IL and reports to the Senior Vice President of North America. In this high-impact role, you will collaborate closely with the North America leadership team to evaluate opportunities, lead and execute key projects to expand our market footprint while ensuring that the strategy and strategic decisions are supported by insights and data. What you will be doing: As Director of Strategic Projects, you will help shape and execute ROCKWOOL North America's forward-looking strategy. This hands-on role requires strong collaboration, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate vision into action. • Lead the assessment, prioritization, and implementation of company-wide strategic initiatives. • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business models to identify growth opportunities. • Translate strategic goals into actionable projects with measurable KPIs. • Build financial models, develop business cases, and conduct risk assessments. • Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities (both organic and inorganic). • Partner with C-level executives and business leaders to align strategic direction with operational plans. • Design and facilitate strategy workshops, offsites, and communication forums. • Develop dashboards and frameworks to track strategic initiative progress. • Present insights and recommendations to the executive team and board. What You Bring: You are a forward-thinking strategist with strong execution skills, able to move seamlessly between vision and detail. You thrive in collaborative environments and inspire others through your clarity and passion. • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. • 5+ years' experience in top-tier consulting or corporate strategy functions. • Background in construction, industrial or manufacturing sector preferred. • Proven track record leading strategic initiatives or corporate development projects. • Strong business acumen with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities. • Ability to influence without authority and build cross-functional alignment. Final compensation will be based on your experience and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible for a car allowance and an annual bonus.
