Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles with a focus on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Candidates should be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostics using scan tools and other testing equipment • Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.) • Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems • Communicate findings and repairs clearly with service advisors or customers • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used • Follow all safety and cleanliness procedures in the shop • Stay up-to-date on manufacturer service bulletins and recalls • Keep tools and equipment in proper working condition • Road test vehicles after service to ensure proper operation Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience (more for advanced roles) • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair software • Excellent attention to detail and time management Preferred Qualifications: • ASE Certification(s) (A1-A8, L1, etc.) • EPA 609 certification for A/C service Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: • On-the-job training Work Location: In person
