Logistics: Role Type - Contractor Hours - 40 hours/week Location - Remote with 25% travel Workday is seeking an Events Manager for our North America Strategic Sponsorships programs. In this role, you'll drive the strategic alignment, planning, and execution of our third-party event programs. Your primary mission will be to drive lead generation and elevate brand awareness through key industry and persona third-party conferences. You'll partner closely with internal stakeholders to define program goals, develop impactful promotional strategies, craft compelling content, manage budgets, and meticulously coordinate all logistics. This role is key to optimizing our lead capture efforts and delivering a high-quality prospect experience, ultimately contributing directly to Workday's continued growth. The role is responsible for: • Drive program planning and execution with high focus on lead generation and brand awareness. • Lead weekly planning meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive program development. • Working with external vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective execution • Analyze performance and ROI data, with a focus on pipeline generation and acceleration • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to ensure event strategies complement regional campaigns and objectives. • Curate compelling messaging and content for all program aspects. • Developing supporting event planning materials (i.e. planning deck, staffing list, Know Before You Go decks) • Develops, implements, and tracks program budgets • Traveling to and support onsite execution and management of select tradeshows, when necessary Requirements: • Effectively manage a large amount of projects at various stages and complexity • Calm under pressure while being decisive and strategic to the overall purpose / goals of the event • Thrives in a fast-paced environment • Effectively coordinate with Project Managers, utilizing the software, “Workfront” • Partnering with vendors for successful outcomes • Embraces changes from original plans • Remarkable attention to detail • Seamlessly transition from being very detailed to a high-level overview • Communicates clearly and proactively, keeping stakeholders informed and mitigating potential issues. • Strong writer, able to create compelling messaging and content. • Understands complex system interdependencies to inform decision-making. • Works collaboratively with a team-first approach • 3+ years as a tradeshow manager experience at a mid-large company • Travel as required for managed event programs (25%) Company DescriptionRockIt Events is a full-service marketing and events agency.
