Job Description Summary: The Vice President will serve as the General Manager for a strategic data warehousing business within our Data Modernization portfolio, providing end-to-end leadership across engineering, product management, and technical support. This role combines strategic and operational responsibilities, ensuring the success of a strong development team based in the US and India while driving product vision, roadmap execution, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in software development and product management, with a proven ability to lead globally distributed teams and deliver innovative solutions in the data warehousing space. This leader will own the business strategy, and ensure alignment with the broader Data Modernization objectives. Key Responsibilities: Own the overall business strategy and execution for the data warehousing product line, including P&L responsibilities. Drive growth through innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric product development. Ensure alignment with C-level stakeholders and the President of Data Modernization. Define and communicate product vision and roadmap to deliver best-in-class solutions. Champion customer needs and market trends, ensuring product decisions are data-driven and customer-focused. Oversee product lifecycle management, packaging, and go-to-market strategies. Lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams across US and India. Drive modern development practices, quality standards, and process improvements. Collaborate on architectural decisions and technology modernization initiatives. Ensure technical support teams deliver exceptional customer experience and timely resolution. Implement processes and tools to improve support efficiency and customer satisfaction. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other functions to align business objectives. Represent the business internally and externally, evangelizing vision and strategy. Required Qualifications 15+ years of experience in software engineering and product management, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles. Proven track record of managing a technology business and driving growth. Experience leading globally distributed teams (US and India) across engineering, product, and support functions. Deep understanding of data warehousing technologies and market trends. Demonstrated success in defining and launching innovative products. Strong technical background combined with business acumen and strategic thinking. Expertise in Agile development environments and modern engineering practices. Exceptional communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Required Qualifications: 20+ years of management that is directly related work experience. Lead and managed teams of high performing product managers through the product lifecycle and development processes. The intellect and energy to excel in a complex and ever-changing environment, coupled with the poise and ability to act calmly in high-pressure, high-stress situations. The ability to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding, and service-oriented environment. Expertise in managing time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication. Possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy that includes a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. Senior, proactive leader with proven experience in strategic and tactical leadership with the ability to pursue and understand cutting edge technologies. Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products. Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making. Experience with end to end product delivery. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Effective presentations to customers. Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. #LI-Remote Annual salary range for this position is between $227,000.00 - $317,800.00 gross before taxes. .
