The Sales Marketing Director is a dynamic storyteller and strategist who brings Rockbot’s capabilities to life through exceptional narrative development, visual design, and sales enablement. This individual will lead the creation of high-impact proposals, presentations, and collateral for our platform, enterprise software, retail media, and advertising divisions — ensuring every client touchpoint reflects Rockbot’s innovation, differentiation, and measurable value. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to build decks that win — grounded in strategy, visually compelling, and tailored to each RFP, sales pitch, and partnership opportunity. Responsibilities: RFP & Proposal Leadership Lead end-to-end response strategy for high-volume RFPs across enterprise software, retail media, and advertising categories. Partner with product, data, and sales leads to align proposal narratives with Rockbot’s platform capabilities and client objectives. Customize responses to articulate measurable outcomes, differentiators, and ROI across both software and media sales use cases. Sales Storytelling & Collateral Development Own the creation of all pitch decks, sales one-sheets, case studies, and partner presentations. Translate complex technology and media capabilities into clear, emotionally compelling narratives and visuals. Build both standardized “capabilities decks” and bespoke storytelling narratives for verticals, partners, and major accounts. Ensure brand consistency, creative excellence, and clarity of messaging across all sales touchpoints. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Enablement, and Product Marketing to ensure messaging, visuals, and proof points are aligned and current. Develop modular frameworks for sales materials that can be easily adapted for different audiences and business units. Collaborate with design resources to elevate visual polish and layout consistency. Continuously evolve materials to reflect Rockbot’s platform enhancements, new features, and competitive positioning. Competitive Differentiation Monitor competitive landscape (e.g., Stingray, Mood Media, Stratacache, PRN) to articulate clear differentiation points. Craft narratives that connect Rockbot’s platform strengths — such as contextual content delivery, audience measurement, and monetization — to client business outcomes. Contribute to the development of vertical playbooks, category narratives, and conference materials supporting Rockbot’s brand presence. You Have: 10+ years of experience in Sales Marketing, RFP Management, or Marketing Communications within a media, retail media, or SaaS organization. Proven track record in crafting winning RFP responses and high-volume sales decks. Exceptional storytelling, writing, and design sensibility; proficiency with PowerPoint, Google Slides, and creative tools (Keynote, Adobe, Canva, etc.). Strong understanding of enterprise software, media networks, and/or retail media ecosystems. Ability to distill complex technical and performance data into visually compelling and emotionally resonant narratives. Collaborative mindset with strong project management and cross-functional communication skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities and multiple stakeholders. Compensation: Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The compensation band for this role is $145K to $195K, as well as equity and benefits for all team members.
