Chautauqua currently manages $3 billion in assets for institutions and individuals through both mutual funds and separately managed accounts. As an intern, you’ll have the ability to gain knowledge of the equity asset management industry (the “buyside”) via regular interaction with research analysts and portfolio managers, including attending research meetings to discuss portfolio holdings and construction. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to add value and learn from a close-knit, collaborative investment team. This internship requires working full-time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday in our Boulder, CO office. We are seeking a student who can start in May/June 2026. The Impact You’ll Make Research an industry and identify companies that meet Chautauqua’s strict investment criteria Formally present findings to the team and discuss the investment thesis on ideas Shadow investment team members on their research projects Prepare and participate in company and analyst meetings and conference calls Gain a 360-degree view of an investment management firm through interactions with Chautauqua trading, operations and client service team members Bring energy to the team and actively contribute to our culture of continuous improvement What You’ll Bring to Baird: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, math, physics, chemistry or another quantitative discipline Anticipated graduation date of May 2027 Minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher Curiosity and interest in researching and understanding businesses, along with a general appreciation for the stock market and investing Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written; a high level of professionalism is mandatory Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision, yet willingness to take direction; Detail-oriented individual with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Working knowledge of FactSet or Bloomberg and/or a programming language (Python, R) is a plus Application Deadline: November 7, 2025 Compensation and Benefits: $35.00 hourly rate Paid holidays About Our Intern Program: Jumpstart your career with Baird’s high-impact summer intern program!
