We are looking for a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Plano, Texas. This position will play a vital role in supporting our corporate financial planning and analysis (FP& A) functions within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to deliver accurate financial insights, collaborate with multiple departments, and drive strategic initiatives. This is a 6 month contract position offering a hybrid work schedule (in office Tuesday and Wednesday).Senior Financial Analyst (contract position):Responsibilities:This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely cash flow projections that support our financial planning and decision-making processes.• Manage corporate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes, ensuring precision and reliability in financial results.• Collaborate closely with teams across Accounting, Finance, Production Engineering, and Purchasing to align financial goals.• Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute capital investment strategies.• Conduct detailed variance analysis to provide actionable insights that influence decision-making.• Deliver clear and concise reports to senior management, focusing on capital expenditures, depreciation drivers, and prioritization recommendations.• Support the implementation of new capital investment tools to enhance operational efficiency.• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.• Utilize advanced analytical tools to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and solve complex problems.• Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on financial strategies and objectives.Top 3 Keys: Cash flow forecasting and variance analysisExpert ExcelCollaborative team player that is flexible
