Job Title: Lead React Native Developer (Fully Remote) Location: Remote (based in CA - must work PST or CST hours) Compensation: $200,000–$250,000 base salary About the Role We are hiring a Lead React Native Developer to own and scale our mobile application strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role for a senior engineer who has successfully launched and scaled a public mobile app with strong App Store ratings. You will lead architecture, development, and delivery of a production-grade React Native application while collaborating closely with backend teams leveraging Go (Golang). This is a fully remote opportunity with significant ownership and influence over technical direction. What You’ll Do • Lead end-to-end development of a cross-platform mobile app using React Native • Architect scalable, maintainable mobile solutions with performance and UX in mind • Collaborate with backend engineers working in Go (Golang) to design APIs and system integrations • Own code quality, testing standards, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes • Mentor and lead a team of mobile engineers • Drive product discussions and translate business requirements into technical solutions • Optimize app performance, reliability, and App Store presence • Establish best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability Required Qualifications • 5+ years of software engineering experience • Proven expertise in React Native (production-level applications) • Strong experience with Go (Golang) for backend development and API collaboration • Must have built and launched at least one public mobile app (App Store or Google Play) that you can share • Demonstrated track record of strong app ratings and real user adoption • Experience leading mobile architecture and technical decision-making • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, mobile app performance optimization, and CI/CD • Experience working in a remote, fast-paced environment
