PC Technician job at Robert Half. Minneapolis, MN. Job Description Job Description We are looking for a proactive and resourceful PC Technician to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract opportunity within the printing and publishing industry, offering a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues while working onsite Monday through Thursday and remote on Friday. Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive technical support for Windows 11 systems and occasional Mac OS devices, ensuring smooth functionality across the organization. • Manage hardware installations, upgrades, and replacements, including Dell Latitude laptops, monitors, and peripherals. • Provide support for Office 365 accounts, troubleshooting issues and addressing user needs effectively. • Resolve printer and network connectivity issues, ensuring minimal disruption to workflows. • Set up workstations for new hires, including physical tasks such as moving and installing equipment. • Research and resolve complex technical problems with a driven, solutions-oriented approach. • Collaborate with employees at all organizational levels to address technical concerns and deliver exceptional service. • Assist with minimal support for Apple devices, including iPads and MacBook Pros. • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks, maintaining a positive and outgoing attitude. • Participate in team initiatives, including Dynamics rollout, to enhance workplace efficiency. • At least 1 year of experience in a technical support or PC technician role. • Proficiency with Windows 11 and basic knowledge of Mac OS. • Familiarity with remote access VPNs and troubleshooting connectivity. • Strong understanding of Office 365 account support and functionality. • Ability to perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and replacements. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve issues independently. • Physical capability to set up workstations and handle equipment installations. • Effective communication skills to interact with users across various levels of the organization.
